Sorry about whatever happened to your 59 Traveler. It would help if you could post some photos. What would you like to do with it?

Wow! We certainly understand how you feel. We hope nobody was injured. Beyond understanding and sharing your pain, is there a way the Airforums community can help?

Really sorry for your loss, that was a beautiful rig with your vintage truck, BUMMER!
Perhaps it can give up its parts so another old classic can come back to life.

Hope there were no injuries.

Ouch

Can that not be saved if the frame is not toast? If not, I am sure that that little victim can donate some of it's life giving parts to some other needy trailer.
So sorry for you. I hope your, (or the perpetrators) insurance will cover finding/getting/fixing another one.
Perhaps you should keep it for parts for your next one, or, once the insurance has settled, offer her as a parts trailer in the classifieds.
Don't be afraid to stick to your value and pound on desks at the insurance co. to get her worth.
Wishing you all the best for the future.

I think a lot of us worry about a distracted driver ramming into our vintage Airstreams. It can happen at any time. Your Traveler looks beautiful, and reflects all the hours of hard work you put into it. It looked like a "big bucks" restored Airstream.

I hope the final settlement reflects the true value of this Airstream.

Your grief will pass with time and you can start to think about your next one.

The value you lost is more than money, it was a personal investment of time and enthusiasm.

If you are talking more about compensation, Without an agreed value policy, you probably wont easily get the true value of the trailer.

Sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine how sick you must feel inside.
I wonder if it is possible to save it. I would only hope that saving it is possible.
