Just wanted to round off my trip details. The return leg was 2,935 miles at an average of 12.3 mpg; not great but I must have traversed every mountain/ elevation possible and cruised between 55 and 64 mph. Total trip 5,535 miles. The only part I lost is probably still in Montana or Wyoming; about 2 feet of vintage plumbing that was hanging down from the rear, other than that it was alll good. My Tundra '07 was excellent, I didn't need the temporary tow mirrors at all and the semi-auto 6 speed was really a treat to use on steep down grades. I had to use 4x4 a little as I got close to home which I hadn't anticipated, it's quite muddy with a dash of snow. Now I just need to build the 24' x 30' x 10' stream shop this summer and I'm good to go for a couple of years..

We are glad to see that you made it home safely. It was very cool of you to stop in ABQ at the Vintage Restoration Rally and let everyone see your AS. We wished you could have stayed a bit longer, but you had a lot of highway in front of you. Be sure to keep us posted on your progress and as always .... tons of pictures.
