Yeah, but don't read the filthy potty-mouth posts before that one! Those might just discourage you...

One tip I can share is that I use my Apple iPod headphones under my Stihl Hearing Protection. They fit perfectly!

Good tip. I just bought a new 80GB iPod Classic. Plays movies too. Using the iPod will give me a reason to ask my wife to dig in my pockets besides for my wallet

Be sure to run the earphone wire under your shirt and down to your iPod. I did not do that the first time and the Cyclo made mince meat of the wires! I won't make that mistake again!

Ha! NOW you guys post this advice, about 8 months too late for me! It still makes my wife laugh! I didn't think it was soooo funny at the time. Oh, the beating I took from those headphone wires-and I listening to The VAP!

Using stripper, I have about 2/3 of the entire trailer free of the clear coat. It looks good but will look much better after the first cut with Nuvite #7. Looking forward to listening to the iPod tomorrow (with the headphone wire run UNDER my shirt

Yes me too. Todays music of choice for polishing will be Little Feat: Let It Roll. Apple needs to invent wireless iPods & headsets for us polishers!

Excellent selection of music but you'll need more than one CD. I recommend their Waiting for Columbus double live CD too. Their earlier work with Lowell George is hard to beat, IMO.

Whatever Little Feat you choose, its great polishing music.

Another fine band selection for polishing. Sorry Barry, we kind of took over your thread with this music discussion.

Now back to your regular postings.

It was a Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, Yonder Mountain YMSB day around here. I can still hear the banjo ringing in my ears.

Maiden Voyage

My wife was in Denver at a wedding but we could not be derailed from our maiden voyage. The boys and I (plus Lola, our dog) had a great time in Jester Park in Iowa. It isn't far from home - probably a good idea for a first camp out. As you can see from the missing propane tanks, we had electricity but little else in the way of amenities. I have aluminum tanks with gauges purchased but my lines are bad and I don't want to replace them until I deal with the floors. Lots of people stopped by to take a gander. My brother Brad, a fellow Airstreamer, says to get used to it. It's all part of the fun.

Now, back to work polishing. Good times.

The memories of this inaugural camping trip will be ingrained in all of your memories that will last a lifetime. I'll bet everyone had a great time doing nothing at all. Good show.

My word, those kids are getting big.
