Good question. yes, and no. The original Zolatone was 50 years. I think the original owners used the trailer, as there was some wear on the original flint to start the fridge, and some other areas like the window handles had hand wear, even one being replaced. They also took really good care of it, as I could see touch up paint on the tongue, and other things that showed they paid attention over the years, before it was stored for some really long time.
Anyway, I think they cooked in it. The discoloration may be be similar to cooking grease in your own kitchen, that then got dark over the years. The light and dark colored lines are where I cleaned it. Since then, I've cleaned every inch of the ceiling, walls, and woodwork. I also had put in a new hood scoop so there were shiny rivets there, and over time, the connection between the fiberglass end cap and the aluminum wall had chipped away at the paint a little bit.
For those items, I airbrushed new paint, and used a toothbrush to fleck the appropriate top color. I don't think anyone else will be able to tell. I need to degloss the paint a little more as it shows up a little lighter in the pictures, but other than that, it's about perfect.
