utee94 - While hitting the lake sounds wonderful, I suggest you delay your departure from Kerrville long enough to enjoy the lunch buffet at the Inn of the Hills. Absolutely worth the modest cost. Plus - the walls are covered in Swiss-made wall clocks & huge cattle bells.

Marcus - You're a man of very good taste. I got all excited about this one too. I spoke with the seller a couple of times, a nice guy. Yes, a good bit of exterior skin work to do, and some inside also. For my taste, ole R. Ricardo would have to go back into retirement!! But I was most concerned about the lack of a title. I visited three (count'em 3) vehicle registration offices trying to get all the info I could on how to secure a good title. One tax assessor/collector said she wouldn't touch it. She put the VIN thru the state's database & found it had never been registered in Texas. As the seller told me he'd bought it in Florida, I was just about to have a search done there when she sold at the BIN price. Oh well - The quest continues.

Whitsend-- Yes, that was another major concern for me as well. But, as you noted, it has already sold at the BIN anyway, so the Search goes on for me as well.
I didn't get out to Kerrville to check out that TW today, baby issues arose. It, too, has now sold, so on we go.
It's listed on the Forum classifieds as a Sovereign. But the front window fore of the entrance door is only a single-wide window, while all other SOTR's that I've seen have two windows side-by-side next to the curbside lounge area. So, is it shorter? The archives don't show an Ambassador until '59.
The cabinetry on the inside seems more like a Sovereign though-- tall cabinets fore and aft of the refer, and a tall cabinet at the end of the twins. Also, the bathroom has barn doors, like a SOTR.
I've asked the seller for more pictures, will be interesting to see what else this trailer reveals.
Looks alot like this '58 Sovereign to me...it's most likely not a '57, it doesn't have the telltale 13 panels and the VIN # falls in line for an early CA model. Anothe rhint is the curbside window configuration...although the picture on RJ's site are not clear what's going on in the front, the back is pretty unique.
It could have been sold in late '57, but it appears to be a '58 model year.

Hey sorry you did not get the other one - keep looking I bet you will find that 61 Overlander after all

Oh, one other thing...it could be an Ambassador....just because RJ doesn't list it on his archive page, doesn't mean "100% it doesn't exist", just that he doesn't have pictures of one yet. I have seen his list add new models over the years...
Although, I still think it's a '58 Sovereign.

I sure have, Terry. I traded a couple of PMs with Cat and she said that she intended to post Goliath up on the Forum Classifieds. She hasn't yet done that, so I'm wondering if she might have found some way to keep him? I'd certainly be delighted for her if she and her family have improved their situation, but if she still does need to sell, than I'd definitely consider Goliath.
I really like the way the rivet lines sync up from body panels to end-caps on the '63 models, it's so clean and straight.
