Frank, thanks for the contact information, Rob recommended the same thing and I have initiated contact.
Rick, thanks for the listing. The seller lists it as a 30' so it might be a Sovereign, but it's tough to tell from the pictures, can't see how much room is behind the axles. I'll follow up regardless to see what it's all about.

You're welcome. You never know how someone is measuring their trailer. You can't tell much from the pictures, inside or out.

I saw this one! When I saw the "1963" I thought I was there...
I don't have anything against the Ambassador, it's a fine trailer indeed. Just really have my heart set on the Overlander. I don't think I'm quite refined enough to own something called an "Ambassador" anyway. Maybe if they had named it the "Airstream 1963 Uncouth & Rowdy"...
Still, thanks for thinking of me when you saw it. Everyone has been quite supportive and it is very much appreciated. I'll find her, I have no doubt.
Or, as Frank (62overlander) keeps telling me, she'll find me, since she's looking for me too. I like the sound of that.

Hey now Marcus.. do not exclude the Ambassador or the Sovereign, they both would serve you well. The weight difference between an Overlander and a Sovereign is so negligible with the legacy trailers. I personally would love the few extra feet... that way I could expand my polishing by 25 - 30 hours.

Heh... that's exactly what I'm afraid of!
If you're a '58-'63 snob, then perhaps I'm an Overlander snob (even though I do not yet have one). There's something about the proportions of the trailer in front of and behind the axles that really appeals to me aesthetically on the Overlander (and the tandem axle Tradewinds too, honestly). To my eye, the Ambassador and the Sovereign just look a little too long in the rear.
Still, if it were the right opportunity, I might consider one of those other models.
Since it seemed to work for GT1963, I decided to start my own thread with the same title and try to sponge off the karma that brought their trailer to them. ...........
Thanks!

Hey Marcus - looks like you are getting plenty of that airstream karma....
Will keep my eyes open too for you. Love to say hey we will sell ours - but she is still patiently waiting in line for her big make over.
The 99 execella is now down to her frame and the Overlander is playing host as the parts garage while we actually build our new RV garage. Our LadyBug is receiving the preforential treament now while we wait to build the new house....
Good luck in your search and I will send extra special karma for you to find the 61 - it is a great year....

Sharon... you are a genius! I was stupid enough to use my real garage to store the interior of my Ambassador. Now I have the perfect excuse to buy a second trailer.
