Lil back story. I've seen this on Craigslist for month or so. Finally decided to make the two hour trip from Scranton to my Upton,NY. Shes been sitting for almost 40 years jacked up on blocks under a carport next to the former owners barn. He's a artist.....explains the paint. The 1st owner did the inside wood strips and mosaic tile. Ended up getting the the Airstream and a 1974 Harley sx175 for $2200.

Far out, dude. You need to have him paint your truck to match.

I think that switch turns on the intergalactic space communication beam.

With the value of Harley's now adays, I think you got a steal, with a free Airstream too!
I do like the fender cutouts on your AS. Looks like the paint is coming off well... and, it probably saved the alumanum from oxidizing too much too!

I do like the paint job, but I'm not so sure I'd like it on my trailer, but it is cool on yours.

So what is with the frog thing?—the door says "No Frogs. If you look like this, Keep out".

A recent thread told the story of a guy who bought an old trailer and found what he thought was crack and a pipe in it—wonder what you'll find in this one?

The frogs from what im told are from tge 60's/70's no clue as to why they chose to paint them on here. He did say it was painted yellow like a submarine for the beetles. As for strange finds inside......nothing major yet. Few original pen drawings by the owner. Few rusty knives, mouse poop, and old ornate hand formed door hinges. The map leading to Jimmy hoffas body im pretty sure is common place back then but ill frame it just incase......

So cool. That paint might be a blessing in disguise. In addition to having sat under a carport for 40 years, the paint may have helped keep water out and your frame and floor might be in good shape!! Our 60 sat in a field for 30 years and the water had its way with the frame pretty good. Hope you won't have to deal with all that repair work.
Nice find!!
