I like porch light! I had a little time and made one today. Here it is in all its glory! By lossening the lock nut you can rotate it to whichever position you want. The rotary switch above the curbside bed finally has a use!

OK, then. Fork over the details on how you did this, wouldcha?

O.k. Here goes... Acquire:

• 1-3 prong male plug (one with necked down wire end)
• 1-single outdoor fixture (the one with 1/2"thread and the cover)
• 1-PVC 1/2" conduit bushing
• 1-tube 2 part epoxy
• 1-light bulb (your choice of color)

Assemble it in the store to make sure you have the right parts.

1. Open light fixture package and discard the box cover and gasket.
2. Use the epoxy to glue the plug into the conduit bushing, rough up the inside of the bushing and the outside of the plug for maximim adhesion.
3. Feed wires through the bushing and thread it onto the light fixture.
4. Wire the plug, insert into its housing.
5. Plug it in adjust the position with the lock nut.
6. Turn on and enjoy (If you skipped ahead and installed the bulb)
