'61 Overlander Rescue

The seller of the trailer didn't like my initial offer, so I thought the deal was dead. Then, yesterday, she called me back and said she'd take my offer. I'm very happy about this turn of events.

I've been wanting to restore a trailer like this for many years, and I have lurked on vintage trailer web sites for a long time. The trailer I'm getting has a good, straight body, with the exception of 3 punctures in the skin.. two on the outside wall, and one in the roof (someone did this with a tire iron, and the tire iron is still sticking all the way through the roof into the interior).

I'm so looking forward to hearing from all of you on this forum. I also see that another person is restoring a 61 Overlander. Awesome.
