Karl

I'm not sure how it comes apart, but I know it does and can be replaced. You may want to start a new thread on the subject.

Ken,
did you go with 2" or 2 5/16" on the hitch ball size?

Ken,
Just wondering why you went with the manual jack?

Uwe - 2 5/16 - way overkill, but overkill is good

Richard - I'm cheap + this trailer is much lighter than the Tradewind and I don't have twelve volt handy there and all the trailers I've ever owned (except the Tradewind) had hand cranks sooooo I figured I would just go with it. HOWEVER, you may see in the picture I've got a bit of a problem, the handle hits the tanks when I turn it, so I either need to get a sidewinder jack or an electric jack - or I guess I could move the tanks....

I'm baaaack!!

Welp its been a while since I posted, but as promised - here is the progress - in between rebuilding an Airstream, we have built and moved into a new house - however priorities as they are, I'm back in full force on the trailer - I've painted the interior and have started installing cabinets - this is the exciting phase of the project because all I get to now put all my new toys in the trailer - should at least be somewhat ready to sleep in next month.....
I'll keep y'all posted.

Hey Ken, your trailer looks great. From my estimation, if you do 2 dedicated weekends, then you're off camping with it.

Whoa... looks very nice! But I"m confused; how can you have the body on without the belly pan?

Thanks for all the nice comments.

I used Nuvite on the 75 as well as this one.

I left the belly perimeter on the frame - I think you can see in the pictures - I noticed that RJ Dial did it the same way - I think he has come good pictures too on his website www.vintageairstreams.com - don't know if he got the idea from me - I got the idea from someone at a vintage rally several years ago - so I know it will work.

I'll keep the updates and pictures coming -
