Progress has been slow lately but that is because I am going after the details. I found some great quarter sawn oak to make the new pieces out of and here is the pieces that spans the middle for the privacy curtain.
I am moving the toilet and rotating it to make it more usable making some mods to the fiberglass holding tank. 1st I removed the steel pipe fitting, then ground the area to present a 12:1 scarf for the fiberglass repair. The pictures show the area almost completed..more to come.

Moved to the propane system so that I can lay the floor.
The stove is lined with the old aluminum ... I just polished it. I was surprised at how good it fits in the new/old cabinetry. Still waiting for more laminate to finish the piece above the stove and the table.

I also got the front and rear shelves made, I am using aromatic cedar ply on the side that is up with birch on the down side. I am most likely going to make new fiddle rails using the quarter sawn oak. Originally there was a plywood overlay that de-laminated, the last pic is what they looked like so still not sure which way to go so it will have to wait until decided.
I finished the new magazine rack and should get it mounted while the refer is out.

Next on the to refrigerator... today I mounted the new gas controls and started on the electrical.. more tomorrow on that.

57Vintage asked about the electrical for my Krefft refrigerator. I am still doing the woodwork but wanted to post these pics. The heater element is 180 Watt and here the pics show the element and the original connections. The element measures 8" overall with the diameter measuring .950".
I found a DOMETIC Temperature Controller that is being modified to fit the Krefft.
Sorry it took a while but everyday life got in the way. Anyway got the shelf for the refer completed and sealed today. Tomorrow I am wanting to replace the LPG copper tubing and get the refer installed...more to come.

Thanks for the photos. You were correct on the top load. I had taken the prior owners word on the piece missing and loading from the front. Turns out I have the electric element and plan on doing the overhaul this winter.

Since I had the parts out for the pics I decided to build the control box for the 120 Volts AC side of the refer.
I found this plastic box that was about the right size. I purchase an appliance power cord and ran it into the box. The circuit is fairly simple going into a circuit breaker 1st and then into the temperature controller before the receptacle for the heater element...best part is that the refer will now be grounded.
This will be mounted outside the refer in an easily accessed location.

New Floor!
With the cabinetry built and in place it was finally time to lay the new floor. Way back when we started we were going to have engineered hardwood flooring through the middle of the trailer. I installed the vinyl squares under the furniture to simulate the original construction... Then I found the leaks and went backwards having to remove warped flooring.
The new thought was to lay something that could be removed easily in case there were leaks from rain or plumbing issues or just wear. The Plywood flooring was sealed again (after all of the construction completed) using an epoxy (West Systems) to help prevent rot. Next I laid the vinyl plank flooring through the middle or wear areas. **the last pics show the dinette converted to a bed although the curb side will come back out for the electrical.
I used about 60 square feet of the planking making this one of the least expensive projects. This is a "floating" floor and took about a day and change so when worn it can be replaced easily.
Tomorrow I can start on the Shore Power upgrades....more later. Progress is slow but continuous.

Steve it looks spectacular! Your hard works paying off, looking forward to your shore power upgrades as mine system is stock. I cringe when you use the "L" word......... The thought of this work getting ruined by leaks kills me......

Still working on the details so it is has been slow going. The Dinette was out for final detail, stain and coating with Danish Oil.
Installed the new Shore Power Receptacle with extra rubber to help insulate. The new Shore Power Electrical Panel is now ready for wiring with 30 Amp double pole circuit breaker individual circuit protection and GFCI prior to the the original receptacles

I have been back to work on the Traveler after getting the Pontiac running again (the new camshaft sounds great!).
Started polishing again...hate polishing....and working on the original Krefft refrigerator.

More pics to come but here are some trim pieces that were painted. Cannot believe they would have just painted over these but maybe that is why they look so good. Anyway soaked them in lacquer thinner and used a soft brush and toothpicks to get the paint off.
Repaired a couple of other pieces that cover the inside corners yesterday and will hopefully get them mounted today & take pics.

I got the door hung on the Krefft refrigerator but waiting for some ABS sheet to build the new liner. I was able to get the cooling unit and Freezer Door in place and all of these adjusted to be level with the trailer.
I then turned my efforts to the interior perimeter lining cleaning them the best I can. The corner pieces were a bit of a hassle because they are held in place with springs but the hole to attach the springs were cracked and broken through (PO tried hot melt glue...never works). The repair for those was to JB Weld some pieces of monel wire shaped to reinforce that area and then straightening and polishing as best as possible. I found a similar spring then cut to size to make new ones.
Still need the new door liner and insulation but I was able test using the 120 Volts Shore Power. All looked as should until I can get everything sealed and check with thermometer for accurate temp and then the LPG side.

I decided years ago to use a different flooring through the wear areas of the trailer. This decision proved to have a learning curve with the first Vinyl Planking to have failures with separation.
I laid the Luxury Vinyl Planks that I got from Lowes, this is the Smart Core product that has a rigid core and that helps to prevent the planks from separating during extreme temperature changes. I discussed this installation with the manufacturer and they recommended to glue it down with a gap to help with movement going down the road and temperature swings. I used a polyurethane adhesive with dabs in a random pattern to allow the flooring as a unit to have some movement. I went a step further and glued the seams as well.
Yesterday I started to trim it out around the furniture. I am using an aluminum molding so that makes even more work shaping the molding at the corners. I like the looks and this allows me to lift the flooring later if I want or need to inspect the plywood subfloor later without having to remove the furniture.
Still working on some trim but here are some views of what I have so far.

I finished the repairs on the holding tank & set it in place. The final repairs were made with epoxy resin and fiberglass cloth. Yes those are surf board straps securing the tank in place, while I was doing the fiberglass repairs these came into mind and should be fine for a very long time with nylon webbing and aluminum buckles.
I made a new piece of plywood & laid the vinyl planking for the flooring over the holding tank. I then dry fit the piece & temporarily set the toilet while I am waiting for the blocking to cure. Cool part is that the old aluminum trim fits after all of the new work.
That bronze fitting at the rear of the tank is the valve for overboard. This valve appeared to be in such good condition I could bring myself to eliminate it and it will work nicely for an inspection port. I am still installing a new Valterra blade valve anyway and hopefully only as a backup but that will be at the exterior.

I finally got the Krefft refrigerator back together and working on shore power for about 4 days so far. I'll run the new LPG lines in a few days and then I can test that function...I need to do a little more polishing before I set the tanks and paint the frame & tongue.
I added braces to the door to help it hold it's shape and then new insulation.
For the inside door liner I used ABS sheeting. It was easily cut with a jig saw and then I trimmed it to the final shape.
I got the new door gasket from Antique Appliances, their P10388;

As you can see I am making sure that it works properly and the temp is about 38 Degrees with the mountains blue.

I was able to get the plate covering the holding tank set today. Next was to trim the area with the old & new aluminum molding. Then the Toilet was set in place, very happy with how it turned out.
The black plumbing is for the grey water & vent lines. Pictures of that to follow but there are two discharge fittings outside with blade valves to select overboard or holding tank for the toilet or galley sink independently or combined.
Next is the closet and DC System or the mattress...maybe both!

Lined the closet with aromatic cedar. False floor with the DC Batteries and wiring below.....getting closer to camping! Need to finish a few things like the LPG System but still............
