1958 traveler
I have just returned from picking up my traveler in CA ...My S/N is 18D-0233... I am going to do a complete restoration-rebuild... I will be consulting this forum for guidance I hope to finish in 1 to 1 1/2 year... I am going to try to post pictures here..

That is a great little trailer. You'll enjoy for years to come. That is an interesting set-up in the interior front. Not seen one like that. Also, what is that showing through the window on that same shot? Now that looks interesting too.

What years's the woody? Is that the intended tow vehicle? Welcome to the site by the way. Your trailer looks like a great foundation to start with.

The woody is not mine it belongs to the guy I bought the trailer from.
I have decided to do the interior with a Starbucks Coffee house motif. A lot of maple and ALUMINUM. I have the vision now the work begins.

You have a sweeeet trailer. They were built real tough back then and you will enjoy the resto-re-build . Keep us informed and post your progress pictures. I'm allways interested in trailers like mine. Good luck.

Now that its all out, save everything. Even the door hardware, light fixtures, woodwork, faucets, everything. If you don't re-use it, others are always looking for replacement parts, maybe even me. So how much floor rot is there?

My grand dad has one just like that. I'm working on him to add it to my "fleet"

Hi Patrick,
Cool trailer. You are at the right place for ansewers. Six mo. ago when I got my Bambi II I thought "piece of cake" , I figured I'd be camping by August. 
Then I found the Forum, now I know how little I knew in Feb. , I now figure one year fom now, but it's been fun so far.
