I removed and carefully replaced them all with new vent boots and screens as one was beginning to seep water when it rained. I noticed that each Aluminum housing had a small tapped... Another question for the group: My recently purchased 1976 29 foot rear bath has 3 cast aluminum vent cover housings. I removed and carefully replaced them all with new vent boots and screens as one was beginning to seep water when it rained. I noticed that each Aluminum housing had a small tapped hole near the top opening and wondered if I might be missing a cap of some sort as this might be an attaching point.

Anyone with a clue about these holes might be kind enough to comment.
