I can buy the Sunbrella fabric 46" wide for about $9 per lin yd.

I would need about 13-14 yards or about $140, then I need to have someone sew it up and put the bolt ropes in etc., not sure what that would cost?

Anyone ever sew one themselves?

Zipdee fabric roller sleeve

I am putting a Zipdee awning on my Tradewind from salvaged parts.

What is the correct position of the fabric awning sleeve? In other words, should the sleeve be riveted to the roller so that the seam that makes the sleeve is at 12 o'clock when the awining is fully open?

Anybody got a picture?

Of course I never pay any attention to my wife and I cut a corner a little too sharp and managed to knock off the center support brace for the canopy on our 25' Classic. I was lucky as there is no damage other than finding the support strut laying on the ground. It looks like it was originally fastened with rivets and I am not sure how to get new ones on the back side without removing interior wall covering. I was wondering if the brace could be held on with metal screws put in from the outside?
