.Does this mean on a 74 you wouldn't get that dramatic look.

The exterior glaze is peeling off and it looks like it will come off fairly easy and a lot of is all ready off. My question is can this model be polished, a gentleman in another forum suggested I go to this room to see what the experts say. He's thinking it's an alloyed type that won't polish, if so what's my alternative. And I am in Albuquerque New Mexico, there's an Airstream Dealership here in town but they aren't exactly the friendliest people to talk with so I'd rather take my chances in this forum.
