Whittington Woods Campground near Rend Lake in Benton, IL is a beautiful campground with great facilities for a rally including a covered pavilion and group fire pit. There's a nice playground for the kids and a pool to cool off in the hot weather.

Reservations can be made with the campground by using the following link https://www.whittingtonwoodscampgroun...servations.php or calling the campground at (618) 435-3401. Be sure to mention that you're part of the Airstream rally to get the group rate of $26.50 per night for full-hookups.

This will be a very laid-back, casual rally with not much of a schedule.

Friday morning complimentary coffee in the pavilion.
Friday evening hot dog roast. I'll provide hot dogs, buns and condiments. Others can bring light sides, chips, etc.
Saturday morning complimentary coffee and donuts in the pavilion.
Saturday open house trailer tours from noon to 2:00 (optional). For those of you who always wanted to see the inside of a classic motorhome or 34 foot triple axle trailer, this is your chance.
Saturday evening potluck.
Sunday morning complimentary coffee in the pavilion.
Evening campfires. Whittington Woods has a fantastic group campfire that is a perfect gathering point. You can expect it to be burning nearly all weekend.

Can't make this one. Amy reports to Fort Sam in San Antonio this weekend, and we will be busy moving her and Collin down to Texas.
