4CU Pancho Villa Rally - II!

The Four Corners Unit Southern New Mexico Rally 20-24 October. We will convene at Pancho Villa State Park in Columbus, NM, near the Mexico border, for a three-night stay (four, if you opt for early arrival on the 20th). On Saturday, Columbus, NM will be staging a car show at the North end of the park near the office and museum. On Sunday, there will be an optional walk-over-the border lunch at The Pink Store, in Las Palomas, MX, and their famous Margaritas (while you shop)!

Pancho Villa State Park includes an exhibit hall and historic structures, capturing the history of the 1916 Pancho Villa Raid on Camp Furlong. The Village of Columbus also has a historical museum dedicated to the raid.

The rally fee is $15 per rig and attendees will be responsible for their own camping fees - $14 per night with water and electric, payable on entry to the park. We have reserved the Camp Furlong recreation hall at Pancho Villa State Park. There is a 20-rig limit for this rally. No need to make individual reservations with the park ... it's large park with plenty of room (and only a handful of sites are reservable).

Note: A passport will be required for return to the US if you go across the border into Mexico.

Rally Begins, evening happy hour, dinner on your own.

Saturday, October 22
10:00 – 2:00 Car show at the parking lot at the park office and museum area.
Evening potluck/happy hour – Italian theme. Pasta provided. WBCCI last digits please bring: 0-1 sides, 2-3 salads, 4-5 favorite meat balls, 6-7 desert, 8-9 antipasto.

Sunday, October 23
Optional lunch and shopping at the Pink Store in Palomas, MX.
Evening happy hour and potluck – leftovers etc.

Monday, October 24
Rally Ends. Happy Trails!
