Event Itinerary
All events are optional!
Main event sites will be 34, 14, & 16
Once you have found your site and gotten settled in, make your way over to site 34 or 14 (whichever the Argosy is in) to pick up your rally info! If no one is present, there will be a tote by the door with the rally info inside!
Wednesday
Early arrivals are welcome to join us around the fire, no planned activities. Those who would like to join us, bring your dinner and chairs and lets eat together!
Thursday
Early arrivals are welcome to join us around the fire, no planned activities. Those who would like to join us, let Airbicuit know, we will be dining at Mark’s Landing at 6pm! Check with Airbiscuit if there will be pontoon boat transportation to and from!
Friday
8-10am: Breakfast on the griddle with NOVA! Bring whatever you want cooked on the griddle!
Anytime: We will not be doing an organized "trailer crawl" due to weather being questionable. So get out and meet your neighbors.
After lunch: Scenic trips/Pontoon Boat Rides/Crafting!
Plan a trip around the area or check in with Airbiscuit to see if a pontoon boat will be going out! Or bring your crafty talents and join us for some sewing, crocheting, and other crafty things!
5:30pm: Hot dogs, baked beans, a side dish or two, and marshmallows await your arrival for supper and will be available near the fire (depends on weather) Bring your own roasting fork if you want one over the fire, we will have the fire at the ready!
Saturday
8-10am: Breakfast on the griddle! Bring what you want cooked by the NOVA chief!
11am: All raffle items should be turned in by this time and ticket sales will begin.
11:30am: Chili turn in at site LOOK FOR THE TURN IN FLAG (Please be prompt!) If it is not on the designated tables by 11:45 its not eligible!
11:30pm: Judging opens up LOOK FOR THE FLAG. Come join us for a group picture. Everyone is welcome to taste test & judge then vote for their favorite! (Bring your chairs!)
Contestants will drop off their pots with serving spoon before 11:45am at the designated location. Then hail your chairs to the general area with your place settings. Assistants will deliver a 1-2oz sample of each chili in a numbered cup and tray to the general area along with a ballot sheet and pen. Everyone will fill out a ballot sheet and turn them into the designated vessel on the food table. While everyone is voting, all chili will be moved to the general area. Ballots will be counted, and top 3 finishers will be announced with trophy presentation. Everyone digs in to which ever chili was their favorite or feel free to make a combination to fill your belly!
12pm: Bring your own bowl and accouterments and join us for a chili lunch!
2pm: Winning tickets pulled for raffle or 50/50
6:00pm: Bring a dish to share and join us for a potluck dinner, and presentation of contest awards (pumpkin carving, best decorated site, 1st place chili) Dessert cakes will be provided!
7:30pm: Fire
Sunday
8-10am: Cereal Bar!
- Please bring a cereal to share. Milk will be provided. Bring your own table service!
12pm/1pm: Pack Up & Farewell

Beside questions asked by helsinhotel, I was wondering how big of a chili batch to make? Any idea of the number of people attending?

Are there any rules for chili? ie beans vs no beans, ground beef vs whole beef? cooked on site or brought from home. First time we will be attending looking forward to meeting all.
