Our 2018 Region 3 Rally will be held April 25 – 29, 2018 at the beautiful Ocean Lakes Family Campground (
www.oceanlakes.com); 6001 South Kings Hwy.; Myrtle Beach, SC 29575 (GPS: N33° 37.701, W78° 57.725). We have sites being held in the three oceanfront sections I, H, and HH, so there is plenty of room for everyone.
Call 1-800-722-1451 now to make your reservations and have your name put on one of our sites. Tell them you are with the AIRSTREAM REGION 3 RALLY. They have blocked off the entire week of April 22 – 29 for us, but you do not have to stay the entire week—pick your length of stay. A 50% deposit is required at the time of making your reservation.
Registration for this rally is a two-step process. The first step is above, calling the campground to reserve your site. Step two is to go to our
website, download and fill out the registration form, the mail it with a check for your rally fee made out to Region 3 WBCCI to our Registrar, Richard Paschall; 304 Majestic Heights Dr; Salisbury NC 28144-5757. Please mail your registration form and check no later than April 8, 2018, so that Richard receives it on or before April 18, 2018.
The Rally Fee is Adults (18 and older), $75.00 per person; Youth (11-17), $28.00 each; Children (10 and under), Free.

On Wednesday, a Welcome Reception at 5:00 p.m. will begin our festivities. Please wear your ugliest beach hat—there will be prizes. The following morning will feature seminars with the afternoon free for all to explore the unique area with all it has to offer: restaurants, boardwalk (Murrells Inlet), shops, golf courses, beaches, etc. Seminars by Randy Godfrey on Towing is a Balancing Act, John Frerking will strengthen our units with Guiding Your Unit to Greatness, Chef Bob will entice us with Quick Meals in your Airstream, and John Leake will have his very popular Airstreaming 102. On Saturday we will enjoy a catered breakfast, followed by the Region 3 Board Meeting with an “Open Forum” afterward. The US Navy’s Blue Angels will be performing Saturday and Sunday at the local airport for your added entertainment.
At 5:00 p.m. on Saturday the ALL THAT clogging group (that performs locally six nights a week) will give us what we’re sure will be an exciting performance. A catered dinner follows at 6:00 p.m., with entertainment to follow by the JACOBITES, BY NAME, a Celtic music group from Franklin, NC.
A unique opportunity unfolds on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Jay Thompson, our International Caravan Chairman, will present a caravanning training module for all prospective or interested caravan leaders, utilizing a new audio-visual format. And, Matt Hackney will demonstrate Dutch Oven cooking on Friday at 11:00 a.m.
