Burning Man 2012!
Once again we are gathering our Airstreams on the playa
at the Black Rock Desert for the 2012 Burning Man Festival.
It's a loosely organized theme camp with details being decided
on our planning thread.
If you haven't been before, please go to burningman.com and read
everything, especially the First Timers Guide and all the preparation info.
Everyone is responsible for getting their own ticket and tickets are currently
sold out for this year. If you don't have one yet, keep your eyes open for
possible extra tickets floating around. Sometimes people have extras or
must cancel at the last minute but tickets are tight this year. Here's
hoping that next year the ticket system is better organized.
In any case, if you are planning to come, WOO HOO, and please sign up here
if you are planning to join our theme camp:
Trailer Trash Airstreameri Geologists and Gynecologists
(or something along that line or a completely different thing TBA).
Cheers and see you on the playa!

I went once before back in 2000, 12 years ago! Slept in a tent until it was flattened by the wind, and then in the car. I'm so happy to be going in style this time.
