We have a great weekend planned with something for all ages. Step back in history with organized tours to the Nanton Bomber Museum and Blackfoot Historical Site. Step forward and taste something new during the beer and chocolate tasting or the pig roast, while visiting with friends.

For the young and young at heart, we have loads of activities planned. Nominate your favorite movie that has an Airstream in it for movie night!! Check out the scavenger hunt for the kids and adults and other children's activities during the weekend.

We are staying at the beautiful Aspen Crossing campground. Take a look on their website for everything they have to offer. Why did we pick it? Because of the trains!! If you know our family, then trains have high priority in any holiday. They have a gorgeous nursery and greenhouse with various train related activities on site. Maybe pick up some plants for your garden? Aspen Crossing was also featured in the Alberta AMA magazine, so the word is getting out! The local area also has many things to offer. See the pelicans on the river, get an ice cream, visit the center of the Star Trek universe (Vulcan) or visit with friends. We’re told to check out Happy Hour on the patio on Saturday at the dining car…

Attended the May Long event last year in Rosthern, Sk; it was fun. Will mark this on our calendar.
