First entry.....

I guess I am a sucker for abused Airstream. I am about to go look at a third one. Maybe this will be the lucky one.
It all started with a $150.00 abandon one about two miles from my home. That led to the second one. A poor "Smushed Overlander" out of Atlanta. It has proven to be a lot more work than I can handle with a family, job and other hobbies.
When the one am going to look at came available I just about had a heart attack. It seems on the surface to be the perfect solution to my Airstream needs. A great shell that needs a great interior. Time will tell as I am off on the marrow to take a look and just maybe bring it home.......

Shock removal/replacement
I have a 1972 Land Yacht which I am restoring. I want to replace the shocks but find that after removing the nuts that one bold on each end of the shock is spot welded on and am unable to remove the shock. I know I am not the first so how do I complete this taskPosted 08-11-2008 at 10:35 AM by hogeybones
