We picked her (74 Argosy 26) up in October, 2009 in Columbus, NE. Hooked onto her, checked out the tires, brakes and the lights, drove 450 miles at 60+ mph without a problem. Pulled like a dream behind my '98 3/4 ton Dodge pickup.
We are the 2nd family to own her.
She is in fair shape, with the usual 35 years of wear and tear.
the floor is in good shape with only a couple of bad spots that will repair easily. It (the floor) has some squeeks and creeks. I'll call it charactor.
The refer had been removed by the PO, but I brought it home with the trailer. The PO told me the water heater was leaking slightly, since it was the original Bowen, I figured it was time to replace it.
I could see the bath would need a major redo and the gaucho would have to go in favor of a dinette. The galley would also need some work.
Within a week of having her home, I had removed all of the unwanted items and checked out the plumbing and electrical systems. Work was needed in both of these areas.
As I progress with the upgrades I'll do my best to keep this up to date. When I figure out how to add pics to this, I will.
