We again stayed in San Simeon SB on way north to San Francisco. Next day took county highway G18 off US101 through Carmel Valley and stopped for lunch along Monterey's Scenic 18-Mile Drive.

Along way, however, had a scare in Airstream. The tow seemed very bumpy, jolting us often, on our normally smooth ride...and it was getting progressively worse. We kept stopping and checking hitch, but all seemed ok. Finally, on one stop, one of us stayed out to observe, while the other pulled away....
