Back again at Emma Wood SB, one of our favorite stops, especially during Ventura County Fair time.

Prize winning turkey at the nearby Ventura Fair...quick drive down US101 from Emma Wood campsite. We always tour the prize animals, foods, crafts...enjoy some sweet corn among the many food vendors.

Emma Wood SB is another favorite site, especially during Ventura County Fair time. Campsite right on beach. Stars, fireworks, and campfires at night. Sun, sand, and ocean during day.

Ventura County Fair is easy drive from Emma Wood campsite, which occurs each year in August. After fair, we usually get take-out at Tony's Pizzeria to enjoy beach side in the Airstream - with bottle of Pinot Grigio.
