Near Big Bear Mountain and on Big Bear Lake, Serrano is a wonderful campground in the San Bernardino Mountains. We time our stay there to take advantage of the near-by Big Bear Renaissance Fair, in Fawnskin these last couple years, on Big Bear's North Shore. Knights in armour, damsels in distress, good food and brew. The campsite itself is right on Big Bear Lake, short walks to lakefront, where you can see the Big Bear Solar Observatory.
