Airstream intalled the vista widows differently for different years. I have a 73 and I was able to remove it using a screw driver, needle nose pliers, and a utility knife.

Tools is one of those things I have already had when I started on my airstream. So I will cover the tools you might not have. Hand held grinder with a cutting wheel, Dremel, Air compressor rivet gun, Drill and 1/8th replacement drill bits, sealant gun, and I bought a set of hemostats to hold wires out of the frame so they would not slide back into the trailer skins.

    Rivets- How to replace

Great !! Does anyone know of a "How to" on this ? Also, if my windows have that white crud in between them,(AND BUBBLES) is there a way to treat them so they will remain clear after the re-install ?
