After two beautiful, warm, partially sunny days, Friday and Saturday… wound our way down off the mountain, bright and early, onto US 231 and headed north. Following the little red highway into Tennessee, through Fayetteville, Shelbyville, Murfeesboro, Lebanon and into Kentucky, around Bowling Green and onto the William H. Natcher Parkway, exit at Hartford, the camp is just a mile away. Total of 220 miles… again. It was slow, but we get into our new camp between 2 and 4 pm. Lots of time to kick-back, relax, read and sleep A nice, mellow parkway… a few trucks… not as nice as the Natchez Trace, but recommended! The park, on the other hand, not so recommended. Only a mile off the Parkway, it's convenient and OK, but not very pretty. Quite a few people living here long-term at $240 a month.
