BaseCamp Remodel

We made three camping trips in 2010 with the standard slide out bench/bunks. After making and unmaking our bed each and everyday, we
ended our last trip sleeping on the floor. The original bunk height would not allow us to store a standard Coleman ice chest or the WAECO 12v refrigerator or the Porta-potty underneath (did anyone camp this unit before roll out ?).

So we decided to make two bunks/benches that are 17.5 inches of the floor to solve the storage problem. The new bunks are attached to the original hinges, and all of the legs just drop out. Upholstery is next.
