Scatter Bug Belly Pan Rivets and Stabilizer Install
Posted 07-14-2008 at 10:45 AM by myboyburt
The re-riveting of Scatter Bug's belly pan is about 1/3 done. We ran out of 3/16 rivets so we could not complete the job this past weekend. Leon is picking up an additional 100 rivets or so and will finish up on this repair some night this week. Pictures show Leon drilling starting holes for the rivets and a section of the repaired belly pan.
All four stabilizers have been installed. Scatter Bug is now rock solid when they are down. BS (before stabilizers) you couldn't drop a dime without her swaying. The stabilizers are my favorite upgrade!
Installing them was fairly easy. Leon moved a gas line, lined up the stabilizers with the frame, pre-drilled the holes and then bolted them in. He used our auto jack to hold the stabilizers in place while he installed them.
