Newbie to the site & ownership

Hi, this is my first post. I recently inherited my Daddy's pride & joy, a 1985 Airstream Motorhome. I have loved this girl since I was a kid. However, Daddy always drove, maintained and retired in his beloved Airstream. My problem is I have never driven her, don't know how to fix her and AB-SO-LUTE-LY refuse to sell her. I want to enjoy her as much as he did. I've tried searching on-line her yr/make/model but the only thing the title says is 1985 Airstream. Anyone out there know how I can find more description of the model? And, if there is anywhere in NE Florida where I can go to learn how to take care of her? Thanks a bunch.

Welcome to the Forums. You will get more replies tomorrow since lots of people check the forums in the a.m. You will get even more if you post directly to the forums. Sometimes blogs don't get a lot of comments because many people seem to only check the new forum entries.
I'm a newbie, too. Joined the forum last October when we decided we had to have an airstream, and just got our 92 Excella 29 a week ago.
The forums have so much information in them I'm not sure one could ever get it all read. I know that down toward the bottom on the main forum page there should be forums dedicated solely to AS Motor Homes as opposed to all the trailer forums. For me, the forum is my Airstream School. I've learned a lot already.
Sorry about the loss of your Dad, but glad you'll have his beloved Airstream. I'm sure he loved it madly and you will, too.
