Finally talked the hubby into giving the Ambassador a try. Stayed close to home, just in case. I packed the clothes, and food and he filled my truck with various "what if" tools, including extra everything from pex parts to gas fittings and several tool boxes and even a full size ladder. And with all that planning, he still had to go to the hardware store, several times.... After making a wonderful jamabalya for supper I began the dishes, and every bit of water I put through the drain made its way to my feet. The one thing he didn't check, looked fine to both of us, but in fact broken completely in two. We even wiggled them to make sure, so i am guessing it happened on the ride over. So breakfast dishes were done in the shower and by lunch we were up and running. Well until the door knob broke and almost locked us out. So after removing it and filling the hole for the remainder of the trip with a dish rag our camping fun finally started. (we used the screen latch to hold it closed at night and the dead bolt and several bungees to get it home) Wonderful time and loved everything ELSE about our new toy. Drains are now fixed and new knob will be in today so hubby has already planned our next trip, and he is trusting it now, so we get to go a little further from home.
