Hello & Welcome:
This is the story of our 1972 AS Sovereign 31ft, we acquired in May 2008. We are the 3rd owners on record. Our AS was built at the Santa Fe Springs, CA plant; which has since closed. It was in pretty good condition when purchased. It still needs repairs and renovations as most do of this vintage.
Stay tuned and check back frequently to check on our progress, as we continue on our journey to “Infinity & Beyond”.
Happy Trailering !!!

Durango is a great little town. Downtown is fun to shop. We rode the train (Durango to Silverton), it takes like 3 hours each way. The scenery was spectacular, well worth the fare. The train at one point was tilting as we went around a bend (see photo). We were told that the surrounding mountains/landscape are what they used to model Disneys' Thunder Mountain ride after. We rode in the open air car with the padded seats. Just be sure to pack your sunglasses, as the smoke/soot from the steam engine can work its way back and do a number on your eyes. Weather was great, glad we chose the outside viewing. Camped at the Durango Riverside campground. Nice spots, gravel, fairly level, very busy place in July. They have river-view sites also. Very pleasant surroundings: pine trees, very woodsy. The road leading into the campground is a little steep, but not bad. Just go slow.
