New Nest

Our Nest arrived so late last summer that we basically bought it to store it over winter. Now that it is warming up, we are finally able to use it.
This is our first RV. We bought the 16U model so that we would have the option of a table if the weather is bad. I also liked the counter space and extra storage that you get with the cabinet rather than a bench. However, we also like the idea of having a bed set up so that we don't have to make a bed every night and put it away every morning. We cut a 2" natural foam pad to match the curve of the inside of our trailer. I put this over our cushions and leave the bed set up. If we need to use the table, we can easily roll up the bed and use the benches and table near the kitchen. The bed stays in a roll on the bench near the front window and we still have plenty of room.
We successfully had our test run at William O'Brien State Park. There are a few things we didn't think of, like a mud mat in front of the door. There was a big rain storm, including a tornado siren. Our Nest weathered everything like a champ. We have had no problems with our Nest. I have not even seen any loose screws. We tried to use everything, and it all worked beautifully.
There are a few things we need to figure out. Other RV with experience will help bring solutions. We love having a small, easily towable RV!
