Day 2

Posted 09-07-2017 at 07:46 PM by lilsheepdog

I was determined not to stall on the tough parts. With the PO already framing the inside and cutting away most of the subfloor away from the shell, I went ahead and started jacking her up! I've attached pictures.

Day 3 (today because yesterday had to be a hurricane prep day) was more of the same. She's now jacked up more and I'll be picking up 3 2x6x12s to put the shell up on and propping on saw horses so I can pull and start working on the frame. I also cut the wires so there's complete separation.

Funny enough, I also learned how the windows work! It's hot down here in Florida and the warehouse has very little air movement. The road side window has a torn hinge though. WAY down on my list, lol.

I've been told I'm working the next 7 so I might not get to do much on her unless I do a few things at night after shift, but that's only if we're not working 16 hr shifts instead of 12. The house is prepped and hubby and I are on different shifts so someone will be here most of the time.

I hope everyone hunkers down that needs to.
