Replacing the range hood

Posted 01-23-2018 at 04:28 PM by Johnbeckner

My 2014 Flying Cloud had the same problem with the range hood! Both light bulbs burnt out. the early version came with 3amp Fuse. It was difficult to find a replacement online! My only option was to call Airstream directly for a new one, which they sell for $366.67 + tax.

But i didn't want the same old model especially with no LED lights.

After doing some research, I found a Japanese company called Kobe Range Hood in California. They specialized in handcraft range hood for the last 20 years. Seems legit. They just released a new Stainless Steel Range Hood design for RV and Airstream. The price is about the same as a new Baraldi but the quality is different with LED lights and much more quiet.

I'd recommend checking it out before making final purchase. Good luck!

Here is the website if anyone is interested.
