Rescued!
Call off the assault landing...we have been rescued! Finally (drats) able (had) to leave Ft Pickens. They opened the road at 1:00 this afternoon for convoys to leave the park.
Local Media has covered the plight of us 'stranded' campers and was on site as we Q'd up to be escorted back to civilization...

We actually hated to leave, the weather was stunning and how often do you have a top notch campground all to yourself?
