sweet... I just got my trojans last week and am looking forward to put'n them in the new battery box retrofit... should make dry camping much more fun and less worrysome.

why airstream didn't go to these years ago is still a question unanswered... when ask at a meeting.. they did the shuffle off stage left...

Some came up with pretty lame excuses as to why but the oldies said that when the gp 24s were around they were about 25 bux each... cheep... and so who cared if they only lasted a year... you put new ones in seasonally... accroding to them.. but now that they are approching 100 bux each... makes a big difference in yearly cost...
So most ventured off into better battery that required a better location.

While mounting them on the A frame is not the best spot.. it was simple and effective to do the job according to the oldies again...

Strange that A/S fought it for a while and then started making the tool box into a battery box... interesting...
