The reason I started on the closet doors was because my wife forbade me from working on the AS until I did something with my other house. We just got married about a year and a half ago. I moved into her house and mine sat empty for about a year. Well not exactly empty! In fifteen years I had collected quite a bit of stuff. In early october 08 she got assigned to Dallas for Hurricane Ike damage duty for three months. Before she left we agreed that before she returned I would do my best to clean the house out to get ready to sell it. After she was gone I was working over there cleaning and my neighbors came by wanting to know what I was going to do with the house. Comes to find out they were going to have to move because they lost a roomate. I decide to rent it to them due to the fact that it was not going to sell because of the economy. Now I had to get everything out! This process only took a month and a half. Three good things came out of this #1 I have some really great tenants who I treat as my friends. #2 I actually did what my wife asked, which totally surprised her! #3 Now I get to work on my baby!!!! These are some pictures of the interior before I started. Of course the POs had painted it not once but twice and the entire original curbside was gone. But its going to be sweet when I get through!
