HELP!!!! We got locked inside our Airstream

But we almost always leave our TV inside the trailer, that wouldn't work for us - it does sound like a good hiding place though.

    I'm wondering if it would be possible to remove that troublesome inside locking lever. The AS has a very good 'dead-bolt' lock that should suffice.
    It's held on by a couple or three Phillips screws, and if not possible to bang out the pin, then perhaps just cutting it off flush.
    I'm speculating right now , of course, and will follow up when I get my new one out of winter storage at the dealers.
    Other than that, I do keep a spare set of keys in another place, safe.
