Hitch mirror

Hello all from new member here. I wanted to share my experience in buying, then using a magnetic hitch mirror. In the end, it works pretty well, but the placement of the mirror on the trailer frame, near the hitch connection, is critical. Also, the height of the mirror is important as is its orientation (so that you can see the receiver as your hitch ball approaches).
Once I had it all figured out, I marked the location on the trailer frame with a sharpie and marked the extension height on the telescoping tube. At least those two steps will not be trial and error again.
Use of this mirror takes a bit of practice, but once you have it down, its as easy as looking in your rear view mirror.

Great idea. I'll have to try it out. I painted the vertical post that holds the two propane tanks a bright red because it's the centre of the trailer, Works well but now I want a mirror.
