Restored:
All cushions and fabrics
Most of the electrical system, including all outlets and switches. Now it's dual RV battery with a marine 1,2,Both,Off switch in the bathroom closet and a battery meter, lasts about 4 days when camping in the boonies using everything. New IntelliCharger. Soon to have a 3000 watt inverter.
All new plastic latches and window slides. All new window latches. Refinished all interior aluminum bugscreen trim.
All new interior lights, cleaned and greased vent mechanisms. LED night light settings in bathroom and bedroom area.
Updated door latch and door gaskets
New water heater
Refurbished awning from an Airstream (Love the awning!)
New toilet, new shower head
4 new 3-way speakers and stereo system
A new heavy duty grey tank rack and plumbing
Various little things.
Next, I plan to replace all the copper water lines with PEX plastic lines(Wonderful stuff) and a pressure reservoir tank, and update the kitchen and sink faucets. After that, it'll be time to replace the black tank pipes, the slide valves are very sticky and things are starting to seep... :-(
And a new AC cover next year, new tires to replace the "MayPop" specials, etc. All in all, it's coming along nicely. A new paint job or just polishing it would be nice in a couple of years. I'd like to retrofit a front underbody spare tire carrier in a year or so as well.

Hi there,
What length is your Argosy? I just acquired a 24' 75 and need fabric for the awning. Any suggestions?

Our argosy is a 24', and the awning is an older A&E (Now Dometic) with the curved arms we salvaged from an Airstream. Anyway, I believe you can still get new fabric and the complete cartridge roller from the manufacturer. If it's the roll up tent awning, you can probably purchase it from them as well. Try Awnings - Dometic and click the link that says Awning Replacement Fabrics. Congrats on joining the Argosy club, we'd love to see pictures!
