We returned again to enjoy the bike path on Fisherman's Wharf and visit the Monterey Aquarium.
We've learned to park at the public lot near the Naval Post Graduate School, then take the bike path in. Near the school, we stopped at the eclectic Crystal Rose Collection.
We rode the bikes to the aquarium, in fact, where lockers were available for our helmets. That enabled us to stroll around the aquarium and then Cannery Row afterward, including great lunch at The Fish Hopper.
Closer to campground at KOA Moss Point, we walked on the beach and shopped at the wonderful Pezzini Farms.

Thanks!
Moss Landing KOA.
Brighton Beach State Park.
Are really the only two places we've stayed near Monterey.
We enjoy visiting John Steinbeck Museum in Salinas, but otherwise find city a little overwhelming.Posted 09-20-2013 at 01:03 AM by chbocca
