And so, the journey begins....

Posted 03-26-2018 at 11:50 AM by scullifer

My wife and I finally purchased our first Airstream, a 1973 Ambassador ("Lucy").
She is still at the PO's property, but we will be getting her home in the next couple of weeks.
Cannot wait to get her home to start working on her and get her back to camping.

1973 Airstream Ambassador

Hey all,
My better half and I took the plug to restore an Airstream last summer, and boy has it been both a headache and a lot of fun. We got lucky and got our 1973 Ambassador for free. It was my grandparents and had been sitting untouched and uncovered for the last 10+ years. As I am a full time college student (28 years old, not your average student) and she works 50+ hrs a week, its been a bit of touch and go. Fly rod storage in our 25' 2017 international serenity

Posted 01-27-2018 at 12:51 PM by Partipilofun

This is our easy way to store fly rods in our 2017 25' International Serenity. They are clear light hangers that stick on and made by the 3m company.

Thanks B,

I have replied to the other post but additional info was needed and appreciated. I am a skilled carpenter and so all the work will be done by me. Also, good advise on the scope reference. Finding myself going off the original issue I mean to address by finding additional damaged/worn parts.

Need advise on what best material to use to seal the exterior panels and loose rivets as though I only have minor leaks, they need to be fixed before additional interior...
