Day 3 @ Santa Fe=Work Before Play.

We awoke to snow this AM. Crusty, frosty stuff over everything, but thawing rapidly under the cold, bright sun. We took a brisk walk, made breakfast, then spent the morning doing work; BB on many freelance projects, KB on trips to the laundry facility, going thru 25 quarters.
Around 1:30 we took off for a visit to one more museum--the Georgia O’Keefe. Very inspiring lady, life, work and words. Then, vaulting social strata, we hit Wal-Mart for a space heater (to conserve on propane) and, wonder of wonder, a Trader Joe’s! We bought more than we needed at TJ’s, came back, fixed dinner, did more blogging and more freelance work.
We then cranked up the TV antenna and watched “Modern Family,” the funniest sit-com on TV according to one of its most avid viewers; me.
Tomorrow we plan to pull up stakes--well, stabilizers--and head northwestish. To where, we are not positive at this moment, but we will be (hopefully) by tomorrow.
P.S. Late night decision: stay encamped here uno mas day and take the high-road drive up to Taos manana.
