Sedona Fishing Trip - Thanksgiving 08'

Since we bought our Airstream last April, every trip we've made has been boondocking off an AZ forest service road...and I love it! It was never my intent to boondock but since I grew up tent camping...it just feels natural. Here is our last trip which was a "guys" trip to Sedona to fly fish in Oak Creek.
In my research to find a place to camp for the weekend, I found that all campgrounds right next to Oak Creek were closed for season. So as usual I parked the airstream in the general area, unhooked, and searched for a spot with a view. Due to the steep canyon walls around Sedona we had to head southwest towards cottonwood to find a spot, but finally success! Here are a few pics of the view from our forest road spot and also some of our amazing fishing trip.
Sedona is an amazing place for those that have never been.

Nice looking camping area. Sedona has always been one of our favorites. We are heading to Cottonwood for the Dead Horse Ranch State Park and the Four Corners Unit rally next week over President's day. Supposed to be 27-30 rigs signed up for rally. If you are not busy that one would be a good one to attend.
