We finished our restoration of our Tradewind!

In June of 2017 we finished the shell off restoration of the 1966 Tradewind. We learned a lot and the Airforums were very helpful to discern what we wanted to do. We did a few interesting things. We installed a Dometic Cool Cat heat pump under one of the twin beds and ducted it through the frame. We used Nyloboard, a fiberglass and nylon carpet waterproof composite for the subfloor and we used Prodex offset by foam board strips for the wall insulation. We also built the cabinets out of aluminum L stock and attached wood fronts. For a lot more detail and pics go to our blog site:
