Here are some pictures of my 1976 Airstream starting from when I found it in 2000. It looked bad with the clear coat melting down the sides. But there was no real skin damage and no modifications had been made on the outside or inside from the time it rolled off of the Airstream lot. When I got in 2000 I think it had been sitting in an open storage lot in the Texas Valley for about 10 years. Someone pulled it up to Dallas and put an ad in the paper and I just happen to see while on a trip to Dallas. The person selling it knew nothing about the trailer but they had a clear title so I bought it, or as I say rescued it. One of the first things I did was strip the old clear coat and found a beautiful shinny Airstream underneath. I continued to remodel and refurbish and travel with the trailer until 2012. I then decided it was time to have this beautiful old trailer buffed out and new clear coat applied. After a little research I selected Oasis RV in Tucson for the project and the work they did is shown in these pictures.
