New countertop sink inserts and more sanding

We made covers for the sink out of the countertop scraps. It was easy to cut out but the router edge underneath took quite a while using a router, grinder and alot of sanding.

We also sanded 12 more cabinet doors. Only 3 to go. We should have them all...

Kitchen looking like kitchen now

We got alot of cabinets doors and the kitchen countertop in with oven and sink. Took a while to get the oven from Yellow trucking company undamaged. The first one they delivered was dropped on its' top (Note the top, right corner). We got the second one that was not damaged this week. Not sure if they are coming back for the first one. It has been 2+ weeks.

First night in the camper

We got the mattress in and bedroom pretty much done so we decided to spend the night in there tonight... in the driveway. We threw some temporary bedding in for the night:


We also got the hydraulic lifters for the bed in and they are working great. Here is a shot of the bed up in the air:

Some smaller things that needed to be done

We enjoyed the drive-in on Saturday night so it wasn't a full AS weekend. We did get the light made for over the kitchen:



We used two of the original light boxes from bedroom and kitchen and combined them into 1 box. We like alot of light over the sink. The cover needs polyurethane. There is a wingnut in the overhead bin (left side) that lets the cover loose and it swings on...

Major cabinetry is over...

We are officially done with the major cabinetry on our renovation. We also have 2 coats of polyurethane on it all.

We built out the bedroom and end table for the couch earlier this week making the last major cabinetry.

The bed started with a sturdy framing made mostly with 2x2's and 2x4's used for the supports. There are...
