Arrived Thursday 12/10... drove SR 35 and smaller roads down to Aransas Pass and caught the free ferry to Port Aransas on Mustang Island, then down to Padre Island, by-passing Corpus Christi....

Drove down from Bayou Segnette along Hwy 90W, LA 308S, then LA 1 south to the tip of the peninsula... a total of about 100 miles. Lots of little towns and fishing/shrimping/crabbing boats along Bayou Lafourche....
